With extensive martial arts, self-defence, and fitness expertise, John's not just a coach but a celebrated competitor under the legendary John Kavanagh at SBG Ireland.
Known as "The Belt Collector," he brings a wealth of experience and a history of triumphs to UC Fit.

What exactly is fight fitness? Fight fitness at UC Fit is a dynamic workout inspired by combat sports like MMA and boxing. You'll learn combat moves such as punches and kicks, all within a fitness-focused, non-contact environment.
Do I need any experience in martial arts or boxing to join? Not at all! Our sessions are designed for all levels, from complete beginners to those with more experience. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
Is UC Fit suitable for women? Yes, UC Fit is suitable for women.
How large are the classes? We keep it cosy. Each class has up to 8 participants, ensuring you get the attention and space you need to train effectively.
What should I bring to my first class? Just bring yourself, a water bottle, and your workout gear. We'll provide the rest, including any necessary equipment.
Will I get injured doing fight fitness? Safety is our top priority. Our workouts are designed to give you the fight fitness experience without the risk of contact injuries.
How often should I attend classes? For the best results, we recommend attending at least three sessions per week. This will help you stay consistent and see progress.
What if I have a specific injury or limitation? Let us know, and we can tailor the exercises to accommodate your needs and ensure a safe workout experience.
How quickly will I see results? With consistent attendance and effort, you could start seeing and feeling changes in as little as a few weeks. Everyone's journey is different, but we're committed to helping you achieve your goals.
